Charlie Daniels Band & Friends Christmas 4 Kids Announces Line-Up

Montgomery Gentry, Jake Owen, Sawyer Brown, and Charlie Daniels Band set to perform on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Ryman Auditorium.
Christmas 4 KidsNashville, TN – Grand Ole Opry member and Country music legend Charlie Daniels has announced that Montgomery Gentry, Jake Owen, and Sawyer Brown will join him at The 2010 Charlie Daniels Band & Friends Concert to benefit Christmas 4 Kids, (a division of Christmas For Kids, Inc).
Christmas 4 Kids is a not-for-profit organization that has been in existence for over 25 years providing many children, each year, with their very own shopping spree. The funds generated by the concert, and the Tour Bus Show/Artist Meet and Greet event are used to give children from 29 different schools, a total of more than 400 children, a day-long shopping excursion. The special day consists of a chauffeured trip from their school aboard an entertainer's luxury tour bus, lunch, and a party hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus at College Heights Baptist Church, and finally a trip to the Hendersonville, Tennessee, Walmart where they receive $150.00 to spend on anything they want and also receive a brand new Tennessee Titan's Starter jacket.

Phoenix Public Library Issues Call for Artists for 2011

Burton Barr Central Library is seeking submissions from artists for exhibition in 2011 in its @Central Gallery, located on the first floor at 1221 N. Central Ave. Proposals will be accepted from artists residing in Arizona, 18 years or older, and not currently represented by a gallery.
Artists may submit up to 10 images on CD following the prospectus instructions. ....more

In true Neal fashion, this will be an electrifying show sure to keep fans on their feet dancing to tunes like “Day-O” by Harry Belafonte and his own # 1 smash hit“Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On”. Sponsored by American Airlines and GAC, the Country on the Beach entertainment starts at sundown on Thursday, and will continue throughout the weekend with sand, sun, fun and plenty of great music!
